John Lisica
Overview:
John Lisica joined NW in September 2025. John is a Managing Director at NW Capital Markets. Mr. Lisica is responsible for providing municipal issuers in the northeast region with a full range of investment banking services. He has particular involvement in the development of detailed financial models to project the effects of various financing strategies for proposed projects or programs, structuring and evaluating innovative financings and investments, the development of credit strategies, and assisting clients’ staff on matters regarding analysis of proposed capital projects and capital expenditure budgets. Mr. Lisica has more than 34 years of municipal finance experience and has served as investment banker on deals totaling over $120 billion and structured a variety of bond issues totaling over $53 billion, including general obligation, school district, revenue, education, not-for-profit, charter school, water and sewer, utility, transportation, tax increment/PILOT, sales tax, and refunding/debt restructuring transactions. His experience includes creative bond structuring, marketing transactions, and credit analysis.
Prior to joining NW Capital Markets, John was employed at various regional and bulge-bracket firms where he served as lead banker for various issuers in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and other northeast states.
