George Benoit, Jr.

George W. Benoit, Jr. joined NW Financial Group LLC in April of 2014. Mr. Benoit brings with him over thirty years of experience in the municipal market place. Prior to joining NW Financial, Mr. Benoit worked for major investment firms including: Citigroup, Dreyfus, Oppenheimer, Smith Barney, and Western Asset Management.

Among his responsibilities was managing a team of analysts to review and approve over $30 billion in municipal assets. Assets under management included national and state specific funds which covered the maturity range from money markets to long term bonds. These assets ranged in credit quality from AAA rated to non-rated.

Credits covered by this team included: State and local obligations, single and multi-family housing, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, continuing care facilities, water and sewer, power and waste disposal facilities, project finance, and education.
