Daniel Mariniello
Overview:
Daniel C. Mariniello joined NW in 1997 and has nearly 30 years of experience in municipal finance. Throughout his career, he has established himself as a leader in New Jersey municipal finance, spearheading some of the most innovative and complex projects across the State.
Mr. Mariniello has provided expert advisory services in all areas of public finance, including redevelopment initiatives, municipal finance, affordable housing, utilities, improvement authorities, and comprehensive municipal financial consulting.
He leads the firm’s financial consulting practice for Utilities and Improvement Authorities and is widely recognized for his industry-leading expertise in the affordable housing sector. Mr. Mariniello has guided NW to become a national leader in Public Housing Authority (PHA) finance, helping preserve thousands of affordable housing units nationwide. In this capacity, he works with PHAs across the country as they convert properties through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program, providing strategic financial guidance and transaction execution support.
Mr. Mariniello is also a recognized leader in the financial assessment of local water and sewer utility financing, including rate studies and system sales. He has led numerous consulting engagements for the firm’s financial advisory clients, including renewable energy projects, asset sales and lease programs, public-private partnerships, the creation of public authorities, and detailed cash flow analyses for rate-based utilities.
