NW Financial has provided innovative renewable energy and energy project financing strategies to local and regional governments designed to achieve savings through reduced power consumption, the generation of income through the sale of SRECs, and lower utility rates. These strategies include public ownership, public-private partnerships, private ownership, and the utilization of power purchase agreements, the issuance of tax-exempt and taxable debt, and the “pooling” of local governments into a single financing or power purchase agreement to take advantage of economies of scale.
